What prompted you to get started with Own Your Eating?
Working really hard at the gym and not seeing results in inches or scale.
What changes have you noticed in your body?
I lost 40 pounds and 6 inches off my waist since starting in April. I can do push-ups from my toes!! I went rock climbing while visiting my brother and wore a crop top (silly goal). Overall I’ve just noticed my body works so much better when I fuel it correctly!
What has been your biggest obstacle that you have overcome or are working on?
I’ve overcome my fear of the scale. I’ve overcome telling myself I don’t have the time and really made an investment in myself. It’s helped me be a better me in all aspects of my life.
What's one piece of advice you would give someone that is just getting started?
Use your tribe and plan ahead! Everyone started somewhere and chances are someone in your tribe identifies EXACTLY with what you are feeling or struggling with.
Planning ahead will help you be prepared with all of your fuel for the day to crush your numbers! You’ll be amazed at how quick you get at planning.
